Coney Island Polar Bears Swim 2009
I drove 28 miles in 28 minutes to join thousands of people bring in the first day of the year by watching the bravest, craziest and most lovable bunch of people you'd ever meet jump into the 40° F water. The air temperature was 28° F. After about 90 minutes of taking pictures, I could barely feel my hands.
